The scenic Alps and Lake Chiemsee were just a stone's throw away, providing a breathtaking backdrop for our stay. Our room had heated floors, making it feel like walking on warm clouds. The hotel's large beer garden was the perfect spot to relax and unwind, just like finding an oasis in the Bavarian wilderness. The onsite Regional cuisine restaurant treated us to a meal that was fit for royalty. The classic-style interiors of our room made us feel like we were living in a fairytale castle. The weekly barbecue at the hotel was a feast for the senses, with mouthwatering aromas and flavors engulfing the air. The hotel's close proximity to the train station made exploring the surrounding area a breeze.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the location is perfect - right by a river in the center of town, yet tucked away in a quiet area. The value for money is outstanding, especially considering the attention to detail and the basic amenities provided. I stayed in a room with a stunning view of the mountains, and the spacious bathroom with its powerful shower was a real treat. Additionally, the staff were fantastic - so friendly and accommodating. Finally, I must mention the breakfast. It was simply delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.
All was great, no improvements needed.

Located in a serene area up the hill, Hotel X offers a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. The rooms are incredibly spacious and come with new interiors and bathtubs. The staff are extremely friendly and responsive, ensuring that guests have a memorable stay. The breakfast spread is delightful, with a wide variety of fruits and cereals on offer. the hotel features state-of-the-art facilities like a gym, sauna, and massage center.
Some of the guests complained about the noisy hardwood flooring in the hallway, which can be quite disturbing for light sleepers.

Our recent stay at Alte Post was exceptional. The hotel is located in a charming town, just a few minutes off the main highway. The surrounding area is picturesque with a beautiful church and a walk along the river. The room we stayed in was spacious and had new interior, including a bathtub. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, making us feel welcome. We also appreciated the convenience of free parking, although it was likely included in the room rate. The historic hotel was well-maintained and in great condition. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location for avoiding a snowstorm near Autobahn, friendly staff, good food, clean.
Small blankets for taller people, limited one device wifi per room, breakfast ran out of some items.

The value for money at Alte Post was great, with large, comfortable rooms and a tasty menu at reasonable prices. The location was perfect for a stopover on our way to our holiday destination, just a few km off the Munich - Salzburg autobahn. The staff were friendly and the picturesque building had a traditional Bavarian look.
The breakfast option could have been improved with better temperature control in the rooms and ensuring all necessary utensils, like forks, are readily available.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. My room was spacious and well-maintained, with impressive wooden beams on the ceiling. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh fruit salad and a good selection of cereals and oats.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Loved the stunning Bavarian view from the room and the convenient location close to the popular tourist attractions. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with directions and recommendations. The breakfast spread was delicious with fresh croissants and hot coffee.
The room was very outdated and had an old musty smell that lingered throughout our stay. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were lumpy.
